§ 1What it means

What recognition means

A Recognising Employer states that it treats AIAC credentials as evidence of applied AI competence when assessing candidates and staff. No hiring preference, no quota, no requirement, no fee. You can withdraw at any time.

You state

One sentence, chosen from three wordings or written with us.

You do not

Prefer, require or quota certified candidates. Pay anything, now or later.

§ 2Try it first

Try it first

Not ready to put your name to it? Nominate a few staff to sit the Certified Applied AI Associate with the fee waived. Nothing is published, and you see the results before you decide anything.

§ 3What you receive

For nominated staff. Each seat is an individual account owned by the employee.

A voice in syllabus consultation

Founding designation

Kept permanently, for employers recognised by 31 March 2027.

§ 4Whole team

Certify a whole team

Recognising Employers that want to certify a cohort become Corporate Members: enterprise seats, a cohort readiness report and a voice in consultation on draft frameworks. Recognition stays free whether or not you take that step.

How Corporate Membership works

§ 5The credentials

What the credentials test

CredentialWhat it testsHow it is assessed
Certified Applied AI AssociateAIAC-CAAAWhether a professional can use AI tools well, check their output and know when not to rely on them.Online, in one sitting, machine marked. The result is immediate.
Certified AI in Finance & Accounting, FundamentalsAIAC-FNAFApplied use of AI in finance and accounting at the Fundamentals grade, against the published competency framework.Proctored, in one sitting, machine marked, and the result released by a named member of staff.
Certified AI in Finance & Accounting, ProfessionalAIAC-FNAPApplied use of AI in finance and accounting at the Professional grade, against the published competency framework.Proctored, in one sitting, machine marked, and the result released by a named member of staff.

The entry credential is evidence of understanding, not a proctored result. We do not recommend it as a hard filter. Role certifications follow, and this table will carry them when they open.

AI literacy and the EU AI Act
