1. Who we are, and acceptance

AI Assurance Council (“the Council”) is an industry certification body operated by Arthiq Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202545750G), a company incorporated in Singapore. The Council is a private organization. It is not a government body, a regulator, or a statutory licensing authority.

By accessing this website, registering for an examination, or holding a credential, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use this website or the Council's services.

2. Permitted use of this website

You may read, print, and share this website's content for your own reference. You may not:

• present Council material as your own, or as endorsed by you or your employer;
• reproduce, resell, or redistribute Council material commercially, or incorporate it into training or preparation products, without prior written permission;
• use the Council name, seal, or certification marks except as permitted under section 5;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website or any system underlying it, or probe, scan, or test its security;
• use automated means to extract content, including for the training of machine learning models, without prior written permission.

The Council may withdraw access to this website, or to its services, from any person at any time and without notice, where it considers on reasonable grounds that these terms have been breached.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this website, and all examination content, competency frameworks, scheme documents, syllabi, and assessment materials, are the property of the Council or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. No right or licence is granted except as expressly stated in these terms.

Examination content is confidential. Recording, reproducing, memorising for redistribution, or disclosing examination content to any third party is a material breach of these terms and grounds for immediate withdrawal of any credential held, without refund, in addition to any other remedy available to the Council.

Any feedback, suggestion, or comment you submit to the Council regarding the scheme may be used by the Council without restriction, attribution, or compensation.

4. Certification is of individuals

Council certifications are awarded to named individuals on the basis of assessment. A certification is personal to its holder, is not transferable, and does not certify the holder's employer, any product, any service, or any management system.

Certification attests only that a candidate met the published assessment standard, on the date of assessment, within the scope of that assessment. It is not a warranty of the holder's future performance, competence, conduct, or judgement.

5. Use of certification marks

A credential holder in good standing may state that they hold the relevant Council certification, and may use the associated certification mark on a personal profile, CV, or email signature, provided that:

• the credential is current and has not lapsed, been suspended, or been withdrawn;
• the mark is used in relation to the individual only, and never in a way that suggests certification of an organization, product, or service;
• the mark is not altered, redrawn, or combined with another mark;
• the credential identifier is provided on request.

This is a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. It terminates automatically when the credential lapses or is withdrawn, and the holder must then cease all use of the mark and remove it from all materials within 14 days. Certification marks are unregistered trade marks of Arthiq. Misuse is grounds for withdrawal of the credential and for such other action as the Council considers appropriate.

6. No advice, no warranty

Guidance published on this website is general in nature. It is not legal, regulatory, or professional advice and must not be relied on as such. Standards and regulations referred to are those of their respective owners; you should consult the authoritative published text.

This website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Council excludes all warranties, conditions, and representations of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• the Council is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, data, or anticipated savings, however arising and whether or not foreseeable;
• the Council is not liable for any loss arising from a decision taken by you, your employer, or any third party in reliance on a Council credential, on the public register, or on any content published by the Council;
• the Council is not liable for the acts, omissions, advice, or work product of any credential holder or approved training partner, who are independent of the Council and for whom the Council accepts no responsibility;
• the Council's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms, the website, or the certification scheme, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, is limited to the total fees actually paid by you to the Council in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD 100 where no fees have been paid.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any claim against the Council must be brought within twelve months of the date on which the cause of action arose, after which it is barred.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Council, its operating company, and their officers, employees, committee members, and agents against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal costs) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these terms, your misuse of the certification marks, your misrepresentation of the scope or status of a credential, or your unauthorised disclosure of examination content.

9. Third-party links

This website may link to third-party sites and publications. Those links are provided for reference only. The Council does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party content or availability.

10. Suspension and withdrawal

The Council may suspend or withdraw a credential where it determines, acting reasonably, that the holder has breached the code of conduct, misused the certification marks, misrepresented the scope of the credential, obtained the credential by misrepresentation, or engaged in conduct that brings the scheme into disrepute. No refund arises on suspension or withdrawal. The holder may appeal under the appeals and complaints procedure, which is the sole route of challenge.

11. Changes to these terms and to the scheme

The Council may amend these terms at any time by publishing a revised issue on this page, effective on publication. Continued use of the website or of Council services constitutes acceptance. It is your responsibility to check the current issue.

The Council may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the certification scheme, including syllabi, examination formats, fees, validity periods, and revalidation requirements, at its discretion. The Council will give reasonable notice of changes materially affecting candidates already registered for an examination window.

12. General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these terms; the Council may assign or novate its rights and obligations, including on a transfer of the scheme. The Council is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms, together with the policies linked from them, are the entire agreement between you and the Council on their subject matter, and supersede any prior representation. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right to enforce them.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
