This statement covers aiassurancecouncil.org. It is specific about what has been tested and what has not, because a statement that claims everything is fine is not useful to anyone.

§ 1 — Policy

1. Standard

This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than a remediation task. This statement describes our aim and our current assessment; it is not a warranty that every page conforms at all times, and it does not form part of any contract.

2. What has been done

  • Semantic HTML with one h1 per page and a logical heading order.
  • A skip link to main content as the first focusable element.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Text and interface colours checked against the AA contrast threshold on both the light page background and the inverted bands.
  • Layout reflows to 320px width without horizontal scrolling.
  • Content is server-rendered HTML; the site is fully readable and navigable without JavaScript.
  • Motion is limited to simple state changes and is suppressed under prefers-reduced-motion.
  • Fonts are self-hosted, so text renders even if third-party requests are blocked.

3. Known limitations

  • The certification filter on the homepage requires JavaScript to filter. Without it, the complete unfiltered list is present, so no content is lost.
  • This site has been checked against automated tooling and manual keyboard testing. It has not yet been audited by a third party or tested with a full range of assistive technologies. That audit is planned before the first cohort.

4. Assessment materials

Accessibility of examination materials, and the reasonable adjustments available to candidates, are covered by the candidate support policy.

5. Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site prevents you from doing something, tell us at hello@aiassurancecouncil.org. Please say what page you were on and what you were trying to do. We acknowledge within 2 business days and give a substantive response, including a fix or a timeline, within 10.

If the response is unsatisfactory, escalate under the appeals and complaints procedure.

6. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 9 August 2026 based on self-assessment of https://aiassurancecouncil.org. It is reviewed when the site changes materially, and at least annually.
