Partner Network

AIAC Partner Network terms

What membership of the network asks of a member organisation and what it gives, in plain words. These terms sit alongside the Council's terms of use and privacy notice and do not change either.

§ 1Types and criteria

Types and criteria

The network has three programmes. An organisation may belong to more than one.

Employer Recognition Programme
For an organisation that states publicly that it treats AIAC credentials as evidence of applied AI competence when assessing candidates and staff. The statement is one sentence in an approved wording. Membership carries no hiring preference, quota or requirement.
Authorised Training Provider Programme
For a training provider or institution with a live course that maps to a published AIAC syllabus, which displays the badge on the course pages concerned and sends its learners to the AIAC assessment. Authorisation says the course maps to the syllabus. It does not say the course confers, or is required for, any credential.
Technology Alliance
For a company whose product a professional in a function the Council certifies would use at work. Membership is not an endorsement of any product.

The Council admits an organisation by written notice after reviewing its application. It may decline an application that does not meet the criteria above, and need not give reasons. An organisation admitted and live before 31 March 2027 is a Founding member and keeps that designation while it remains a member and in the record of its membership afterwards.

§ 2Term and renewal

Term and renewal

Membership runs for one year from the date of admission and renews each year while the organisation remains eligible and, where a programme carries a fee, that fee is settled. Recognition under the Employer Recognition Programme carries no fee, now or in future. Where a fee applies to a programme or to a rung above the published programme, it is set out in the member's written proposal and is not published on this site.

§ 3Lapse

Lapse

A membership lapses when the organisation ceases to meet the criteria for its programme, when a fee that applies is not settled at renewal, or when the badge is removed from the member's site and not restored after notice. A lapsed member's profile page remains published and is marked Former member, and its badge, at the same address, is marked Former. Neither is deleted, because a record of membership that can disappear is not a record.

§ 5Recognition statement

Recognition statement

A Recognising Employer's statement is one sentence, chosen from the approved wordings or agreed in writing, and appears only on the member's profile page and the network page. It says that the member treats AIAC credentials as evidence of applied AI competence when assessing candidates and staff. It does not say, and the Council will not say on the member's behalf, that the member prefers, requires or sets a quota for certified candidates. The member may change or withdraw the statement on written notice.

§ 6Staff seats and data

Staff seats and data

An examination seat with the fee waived is issued to a named individual at the member's nomination. The seat is an individual account owned by that person, who registers, accepts the Council's terms of use and sits the assessment as any other candidate. The member does not hold the account and cannot act on it.

Results belong to the individual. The Council does not report scores, attempts or outcomes to the member, by name or in aggregate below the thresholds the privacy notice states. A pass appears on the public register in the individual's name only with that person's consent. What the Council collects about a candidate, where it is held, how long it is kept and the safeguards that apply to its service providers are stated in the privacy notice, which governs.

§ 7Governance

Governance

Network members have no role in setting cut scores, assembling examinations or deciding who passes. Membership gives no advantage in assessment. Member staff who contribute examination items do so under the same disclosure and conflict rules as every other contributor.

No member organisation sits on the Certification Panel. Where a programme gives a voice in syllabus consultation, that voice is comment on draft frameworks before they take effect, never a vote. No member product is named in an AIAC examination or in the Council's own course material.

§ 8No exclusivity

No exclusivity

Membership is not exclusive in either direction. A member may recognise, teach to or ally with any other credential or body, and the Council may admit any other organisation, including a member's competitor.

§ 9Termination

Termination

A member may withdraw at any time on written notice to the address below. Its statement, name and logo are removed from the network page, and its profile page marked Former, within 10 working days.

The Council may terminate a membership on written notice where the member no longer meets the criteria for its programme, uses the badge or the Council's name outside this licence, or acts in a way that would bring the credential into disrepute. Termination is recorded as a lapse under section 3.

§ 10Contact
