Write to us with the form below, or by email. A person at the Council reads every message, within the times published in the candidate support policy.

§ 1 — Write to us

Write to us

Already a candidate with a question about your own account, fee, identity check or examination? Use Support in the portal, which sees where your account stands. Everyone else, write here.

So it reaches the person who handles it. Pick one to see what it covers and how soon it is answered.

Up to 2,000 characters.

A person at the Council reads it and replies to the email you give. Or write to hello@aiassurancecouncil.org.

§ 2 — Email from the Council

How the Council writes to you

The Council writes from two addresses, and the difference tells you what a message is.

noreply@aiassurancecouncil.email
Messages the portal sends: address verification, assessment results, your certificate and its links, updates on a Support request, the acknowledgement of an enquiry, and the account messages you can turn off in your portal settings. A reply to one reaches the Council’s mailbox. For a Support request, the Reply to this message button is quicker, and keeps the whole conversation on your request page.
hello@aiassurancecouncil.org
A person. Answers to enquiries sent through the form above, appeals, misuse reports and anything else needing a considered answer come from the Council’s own domain, and you can reply to them.

Two domains is deliberate: automated mail carries its own sending reputation rather than the Council’s. It does mean a genuine notification arrives from aiassurancecouncil.email while every link in it points at aiassurancecouncil.org. So here is what a genuine message never does.

  • It never asks for a password. The Council cannot read yours and will never ask you to send it, confirm it, or type it anywhere but the portal.
  • It never asks for payment details by email, and never sends an invoice as an attachment you were not expecting.
  • Its links go only to aiassurancecouncil.org or portal.aiassurancecouncil.org. Any other destination is not us.

A credential never has to be taken on the word of an email. Every one the Council issues carries an identifier you can check yourself on the public register, without an account and without contacting the holder. That is the point of publishing one.

§ 3 — Reporting misuse

Reporting misuse of a credential

If someone claims a Council certification they do not hold, or misrepresents what a certification covers (for example presenting an individual credential as certification of their employer or a product), report it.

Include the claim as you encountered it, where you saw it, and the credential identifier if one was given. Reports are assessed by a conduct panel convened for the case, with at least one member external to the Council. The person concerned is told what is alleged and given a fair opportunity to respond before any decision is taken.

The public register lists every credential the Council has issued. A claim that does not verify against it is false.
