AIAC AI ASSURANCE COUNCIL

Public sector sector

AI Certifications for Public sector

AI assurance credentials for government AI use — algorithmic accountability, transparency, procurement and supplier assurance.

§ 1 — The credentials

The credentials

The sector-neutral governance, compliance and audit credentials also apply here — the full register lists every credential.

Curriculum mapping indicates alignment of learning content with published frameworks. It does not constitute endorsement by, or certification under, any standards organisation or regulator.

§ 2 — The context

What this sector answers for

Government AI answers to the public: algorithmic accountability, transparency obligations, and procurement terms that keep suppliers to them. The affected party is not a customer who can walk away.

The credential certifies the professionals who assess public-sector AI use and keep those obligations evidenced — inside government and among its suppliers.

§ 3 — The scheme

One scheme behind every credential

Whichever credential fits, the scheme behind it is the same: every script is marked twice — an AI assessor first and provisional, an independent human assessor second and final — the credential runs a two-year term, and it carries a unique identifier any employer can check on the public register.

How the grades ladder, how sittings run, and what revalidation asks for is set out in how certification works.
